Soul Singer Angie Stone Has A Message For Her Fellow Americans

(9/23/01, 7 a.m. ET) -- Soul singer Angie Stone is currently putting the finishing touches on the video for the first single, "Brotha," from her forthcoming album, Mahogany Soul. The video is due to be shipped to video outlets later this week, with the album scheduled for release in November.

Stone recently offered some words of encouragement to her fellow Americans during these trying times. "For the future, I guess with what is up-and-coming in the world, people have to stand for something or fall for everything," she said. "You really can't let the things that other people in other countries encompass, deal with on a daily basis, just disrupt your whole flow of things because we not the first one to be attacked and we won't be the last."
