Xzibit To Perform On New Year's Eve Special

(12/27/00, 3 p.m. ET) - Xzibit is parlaying the success of his latest album, Restless, into television appearances in the coming weeks. The rapper will perform on New Year's Eve on MTV's New Year's Eve special. In addition, he's scheduled to co-host MTV's coverage of the Golden Globe Awards.

Shortly after the holidays, Xzibit is slated to hit Europe for a promotional tour in support of Restless. Xzibit has spent the bulk of 2000 on the road performing on the Up In Smoke tour with Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, and Ice Cube, and the Anger Management tour with Limp Bizkit, Eminem, and Papa Roach. Restless debuted at Number One on the Billboard Top R&B/hip-hop albums chart and sold more than 200,000 copies in its first week of release.
