(2/13/01, 7 a.m. ET) - The 1968 Jimi Hendrix documentary Experience, also known as See My Music Talking, comes out today (February 13) for the home market. The film, which is available in both the DVD and VHS formats, features well-known live takes of "Purple Haze" and "Wild Thing," previously-unreleased performances of "The Wind Cries Mary" and "Purple Haze" from the Swedish TV show Popside, and footage of two more never-before-seen performances: "Red House" and Hendrix's take on Cream's "Sunshine Of Your Love."

Experience also features the original promo film for "Hey Joe," which was filmed at London's Saville Theatre in January 1967, and the 1997 music video for "Dolly Dagger." Other Hendrix classics heard throughout the soundtrack include "Voodoo Chile," "If Six Was Nine," "Castles Made Of Sand," "May This Be Love," and "Foxey Lady," and the acoustic standout "Hear My Train A Comin'."

Experience is narrated by British blues icon Alexis Korner, and it features interviews with Hendrix and his former Experience bandmates Mitch Mitchell (drums) and Noel Redding (bass). The DVD lists for $19.98, while the VHS tape goes for $14.98.
