(9/13/02, 6 p.m. ET) -- Audioslave, the band fronted by former Soundgarden vocalist Chris Cornell and featuring the instrumental core of Rage Against The Machine, is now set to release its album on November 19, according to a source close to the band. Initial reports had the album coming out in 2003.
The first single, "Save Yourself," is set to hit radio October 1, the source added. A spokesperson for the band declined to confirm the release information.
In other Audioslave news, the band has launched an official website(audioslavemusic.com), but for now, it's barebones. It features four black-and-white photos of the members of the band with the brief description "Audioslave is a Los Angeles & Seattle-based band. For more information, please join our mailing list."
