(1/26/00, 12 p.m. ET) - "I think it took all of two seconds to decide, 'Oh, we want to go home. We want to play to the people that really matter the most in the beginning of the band, and supported us, told us, 'Go do that. Go do your thing.' So we're going to go and give them a big party."

That's what Live singer Ed Kowalczyk told LAUNCH prior to a scheduled New Year's Eve show in Hershey, Pa. just miles from the band members' hometown of York. Unfortunately, because of Kowalczyk's heath problems, Live had to cancel the homecoming gig in York, but the band finally played a make-up date for fans on Monday night (Jan. 24).

Live hosted a party at Murph's Other Bar in York and offered fans a sneak peek at the band's next video, "Run To The Water." All the band's members were at the pub signing autographs and taking pictures with fans. Murph's is where the band started out, but at the time -- the late '80s -- the bar was known as Brooklyn Alley Depot and Live was known as Public Affection.

Live also played Williamsport, Pa. last night (Jan. 25) and has rescheduled the New Year's Eve concert for Feb. 4 in Hershey. The band heads down under for a tour of New Zealand and Australia on Feb. 23.
