Lauryn Hill, OutKast, & The Roots To Resurrect Smokin' Grooves

(5/6/02, 1 p.m. ET) -- After a three year hiatus, the Smokin' Grooves tour will return this summer, with a high-powered line-up that includes Lauryn Hill, the Roots, and OutKast as the headliners. The show will also include appearances on spot dates by DJ Shadow, Jurassic 5, and Cee-Lo.
The Smokin' Grooves tour was launched in 1996 and featured some of the biggest names in hip-hop. Its last outing was in 1998. Some of the artists who have performed on the tour include Cypress Hill, Wyclef Jean, A Tribe Called Quest, Erykah Badu, and Busta Rhymes.
