N.E.R.D. To Take A Break From Hit-Making To Hit The Road

(5/3/02, 6 p.m. ET) -- Neo-rock/funk outfit N.E.R.D.--which features the hit-making duo of Pharrell Williams and Chad Hugo, professionally known at the Neptunes--will hit the road with Minneapolis-based band Spy Mob to promote their debut set, In Search Of. . .. The album is currently Number 78 on the Billboard 200 albums chart and has sold more than 104,000 copies since its release.

In related news, the Neptunes have secured Arista Records distribution for their new label, Star Trak Entertainment. Rap duo Clipse, which recently released the single, 'Grindin'," and singer Kelis will release their forthcoming albums on the new label.
