Ice Cube, Snoop Dogg, Xzibit Featured In WC's 'Bandana Swangin''

(4/24/02, 1 p.m. ET) -- WC, solo artist and member of the Westside Connection, is preparing his DVD release Bandana Swangin', due out in July. The project, which includes appearances from Ice Cube, Mack 10, Xzibit, Snoop Dogg, Run-DMC, and others, comprises home movies and other behind-the-scenes footage that present a more objective side of the rap game.

"All that glitters isn't gold," WC said via statement. "This will be a different kind of DVD for Fortress." Producer Devin DeHaven, who has produced DVDs for Xzibit and Kurupt, agrees. "WC had an idea to implement the excitement like our other DVDs, but he wanted to make sure that the fans got to see the real side of rap, which is not all fun and games."

In 1998, WC released Shadiest One, which includes top rap singles "Cheddar" and "Just Clownin'." The Westside Connection's 1996 album Bow Wow has been certified double platinum. Fortress will release the Outlawz's DVD "Worldwide" on April 30.
