Quiet Riot, Europe, Accept, And Britny Fox Return

(8/23/01, 7 a.m. ET) - Hair-metal rockers from a bygone era, including Quiet Riot, Europe, Accept, and Britny Fox, will all return to the record bins August 28, thanks to Sony Music's Metal Masters series.

Originally scheduled for release August 7, Quiet Riot's most popular album, Metal Health, leads the charge. The six-times-platinum album from 1983, featuring "Bang Your Head (Metal Health)" and "Cum On Feel The Noize," returns with two bonus tracks, the previously unreleased "Danger Zone" and a live version of "Slick Black Cadillac."

Europe's 1986 album, The Final Countdown is revisited. The album will feature live versions of the internationally famous title track, plus "Danger On The Tracks," and "Carrie." All feature original guitarist John Norum's replacement, Kee Marcello.

Meanwhile, the 1984 album Balls To The Walls captures Accept in its prime. The gold effort by the German band now includes live renditions of "Head Over Heels" and "Love Child," recorded while on tour in Japan in 1985.

Finally, Philadelphia-based glam rockers Britny Fox are revisited by way of a compilation instead of a reissue. The Best Of Britny Fox mostly compiles favorites from its 1988 self-titled album and the 1989 follow-up, Boys In Heat. Bonus tracks include a live version of "Long Way To Love," culled from the home video release, Year Of The Fox, and two videos.
