(11/29/01, 12 p.m. ET) -- Things couldn't be going much better for Lil' Bow Wow. His debut album, Beware Of Dog, is double platinum. He's headlined his own tour, and he's slated to appear in next year's film Like Mike. But the 14-year-old from Columbus, Ohio misses being a regular kid.
While Lil' Bow Wow, whose album was produced by Jermaine Dupri, enjoys the celebrity life, he's always happy when he returns home. "The only bad thing about it is that you miss out on somethings that...like when I go home, I talk to my friends, and I haven't seen any of like my boys for I don't know how many years, ever since elementary school, so it's kinda hard," he said.
And though most kids would think he's crazy, he wishes he still attended regular school. Now, a school day consists of a one-on-one session with a tutor. He would like to have interaction with other students. "That has to be the worst part about the business is to miss out on, like, school. I thought I'd never say it, but man, I want to go to school so bad. I want to go back to regular school so bad. I think that's the worst part, missing out on sports. But other than that, I'm having a blast with it, and I get to bring friends on the road with me."
Lil' Bow Wow's sophomore album, Doggy Bag, is scheduled to be released December 18. "Thank You," featuring Jagged Edge and Fundisha, is the album's set-up single.
