Michelle Branch Planning Low-Key Summer
05/18/2004 1:37 PM, AP
Singer Michelle Branch has big plans for the summer taking it easy. After releasing two albums, "Hotel Paper" and "Breathe The Remixes," in 2003, Branch spent the spring on tour, performing at colleges across the United States.
"I'm going to be taking a break, probably through the summer and trying to relax, because I've been so busy the last few years," Branch told reporters in Los Angeles recently, according to AP Radio.
Still, she has no regrets about becoming a celebrity at such a young age.
"I get to do something that I love," she said, "and not only that, but it's a lot of fun, so I don't think I missed out on anything at all."
Branch says she'll start work again in the fall and make plans for a new album.
Those plans won't necessarily include another collaboration, even though the one she did with Santana, "The Game of Love," earned her a Grammy Award.
"I'm probably going to collaborate with the swimming pool this summer," she said with a laugh.
