John Mayer, Alicia Keys, Jamie Foxx Added To Grammy Performers

The Recording Academy announced Wednesday (February 9) that Grammy nominees Joss Stone, Alicia Keys, John Mayer and Usher have been added to the list of performers at the 47th Annual Grammy Awards on February 13.

Best New Artist nominee Joss Stone will join Best Solo Rock Vocal nominee Melissa Etheridge to pay a tribute to Lifetime Achievement Award recipient Janis Joplin; multiple-nominee Alicia Keys will perform with Best Rap/Sung Collaboration nominee Jamie Foxx; and multiple-nominee Usher will perform with the legendary James Brown. Five-time Grammy winner Alicia Keys is nominated for eight awards, including Album Of The Year and Song Of The Year. Usher is also nominated for eight awards, including Record Of The Year and Album Of The Year. Joss Stone is also nominated for Best Female Pop Vocal Performance and Best Pop Vocal Album.

Song Of The Year and Best Male Pop Vocal Performance nominee John Mayer also joins the long list of artists set to play. Previously announced performers include Green Day, U2, Maroon 5, Los Lonely Boys, Black Eyed Peas and Gwen Stefani. The Recording Academy also announced that Ricky Martin, Mario, Nelly, and Amy Lee have been added to the list of presenters.

The Grammys will be broadcast live from Los Angeles on CBS. Queen Latifah will host and perform.
