Patti Smith, Huey Lewis Join Jammys Lineup

Patti Smith), former Phish bassist Mike Gordon, Huey Lewis and Mavis Staples have joined the performance lineup for the fifth annual Jammy Awards, honoring the best in improvisational music.

Other late additions to the event, being held on Tuesday, April 26, at the Theater at Madison Square Garden in New York, include Nellie McKay, the Antibalas Horns and Benevento/Russo Duo.

They join a previously announced roster of performers such as Sinead O'Connor), Burning Spear, Medeski Martin & Wood, Buddy Guy, Travis Tritt, Disco Biscuits, Les Claypool), Ryan Adams, Bruce Hornsby) and the North Mississippi Allstars.
