Earle to Play Anti-War D.C. Concert

Steve Earle is country's contribution, so far, to "Operation Ceasefire," an anti-war concert and rally scheduled for Sept. 24 at the Washington Monument.

Organizers are promising four days of protests, supporting a full withdrawal of U.S. forces from Iraq. Organizers say they'll have country, rock, punk and pop artists, hosted by Jello Biafra, formerly of the group Dead Kennedys.
