James Blunt Calls 'You're Beautiful' 'Miserable'

James Blunt says his smash hit "You're Beautiful" is a sad song, calling it "kind of miserable." He recently said on the Oprah Winfrey Show that it's based on a personal story, explaining, "It was about seeing my ex-girlfriend on the Underground in London with her new man who I didn't know existed. She and I caught eyes and lived a lifetime in that moment, but didn't do anything about it and haven't seen each other since."

"You're Beautiful" appears on Blunt's debut album, Back To Bedlam. Blunt kicks off a tour Monday (March 13) in Washington, D.C.
