Ne-Yo has slated Britney Spears's husband Kevin Federline, branding him a "freeloader."

The 23-year-old is helping Spears work on new material, but says he is unimpressed by her other half.

Reported by Handbag.com, he explained: "I don't know the guy, but I know people that know him and he seems to be a guy who caught a break. He's a bit of a freeloader."

On his collaboration with Spears, he added: "I've done one session for her, but now she's pregnant it may be put on hold for a while. I'm not allowed to talk about her sound though, her people want it kept under wraps."

Spears, who is pregnant with her second child, is featured in a naked photoshoot in the current issue of Harper's Bazaar.
