Possible Blur reunion in the works?

Former Blur guitarist Graham Coxon has admitted he would consider playing with Blur again.

As the ongoing saga of his departure from the Britpop stars continues, three years after he left the band, Coxon appears to be open to a possible reconciliation.

Speaking in a new interview, he was responding to recent comments made by bass player Alex James, who suggested the group wanted to make one more album with Coxon.

Coxon admitted to having little contact with ex-bandmates Damon Albarn and Dave Rowntree, although he does remain close to James. "Alex will always be my friend. I guess they all will be in some way, but it's somewhat strange," he said.

Meanwhile, Coxon told Pitchfork he would certainly not rule out the idea if he was asked. "I haven't been approached about it. I think about it: Would it be fun? Would it be a bit too scary? What would the dynamic be in a studio? Would I have to do promotion? Would I tour? You know, it's a lot of thinking.

"So I guess I still mull around and think about it every now and then," said Coxon.
