Robbie Williams vs. Arctic Monkeys

Robbie Williams has offered to "smack up" the Arctic Monkeys, after they dismissed the work of Mark Ronson.
The U.K. pop star has apparently reacted angrily to front-Monkey Alex Turner's attack on the new single from his producer, "Stop Me If You Think You've Heard This One Before."
Last week, the singer in the Monkeys said he "can't stand" Ronson's cover of the Smiths classic, which features on Ronson's upcoming solo album Versions.
Ronson, who worked on Robbie's critically panned Rudebox LP last year, has now responded to the attack and revealed his friend's response.
"Robbie offered to smack them up for me, but I was like 'I don't need to start a northern war.' Rich, young rock stars still need something to get angry about," he said.
Versions is released on April 17.
