Linkin Park are to headline the Tokyo leg of the forthcoming Live Earth concerts.
The global gigs, which take place across all seven continents on July 7, begin a one-year campaign, spearheaded by former U.S. presidential candidate Al Gore, to promote climate change.
As well as Tokyo, shows will take place Sydney, Shanghai, Johannesburg, London, Hamburg, Istanbul, Rio de Janeiro, and New Jersey.
Linkin Park co-frontman Mike Shinoda told Undercover: "Climate crisis awareness could be one of the defining issues of our generation, and we're proud to play this show in support of that effort."
The concert is expected to be viewed by 2 billion people, and is set to be the biggest music event ever undertaken.
Bands confirmed to play the London event at the newly-reopened Wembley Stadium include Beastie Boys, Snow Patrol, Madonna, and Razorlight.
