Jay-Z has released a new song--apparently to celebrate Barack Obama's election as U.S. president. The Kanye West-produced track "We Made History" has appeared online in the aftermath of the election, although it is believed that the song is set to feature on Jay-Z's forthcoming album The Blueprint 3. Synth-driven and featuring singer Tony Williams, the song finds Jay-Z rapping, "Where are you victory? I need you desperately/Not just for the moment, to make history," before celebrating in the final verse that "Long after I'm gone, long after I breathe/I leave all I am in the hands of history." The track can be currently heard via Kanye West's blog. For more on Jay-Z, check out his NME.com page.
