Adele wins Grammy for best new artist

British pop singer Adele won the coveted Grammy for best new artist on Sunday. The other nominees were British singer Duffy, teen heartthrobs the Jonas Brothers, country group Lady Antebellum, and R&B singer Jazmine Sullivan.
