Tickets for U2's first-ever concert in Croatia sold out in 12 hours Friday, organizers said. Hundreds of people waited outside stores overnight in freezing temperatures for a chance to buy tickets to the Aug. 11 event. Thousands of others logged onto the authorized seller's Web site, overloading the server and causing it to go down for a few hours. "We've never seen anything like that in our career," said Maja Valjak from the Lupa Promotion, a concert organizer for several years. She said organizers hoped to negotiate another concert in Zagreb. The 63,000 tickets were priced at 250-2,000 kuna ($45-$356). They went on sale online at midnight and at 9 a.m. (0800 GMT) in stores. The concert was sold out at noon. Ksenija Pavlic, a 36-year-old mother of two, managed to get tickets online at 4 a.m. after four hours of trying. "I've been waiting for this all my life, and I wasn't ready to miss it!"
