50 Cent has been officially cleared of having any involvement with a house fire at his ex-girlfriend’s home in Long Island, NY last year.
The home was purchased for Shaniqua Tompkins and her son Marquis, whose father is 50 Cent, and caught on fire in May 2008.
The rapper, whose real name is Curtis Jackson, did not live at the home. He and Tompkins had been involved in a legal dispute over his assets, including the $1.4 million home, for several months.
According to a statement on thisis50.com, “The police department and insurance investigators ruled that there is absolutely no proof or evidence suggesting that Curtis Jackson or any affiliated parties were involved. Curtis Jackson has just been cleared of all the accusations. The investigation will continue until the guilty party is found.”
