Let's Dance

Context is certainly everything here. When this came out, such a blatantly commercial album--filled with melodic, danceable pop music--seemed, oddly enough, experimental for Bowie. But of course it sold by the gazillions--and horror of horrors, Bowie started repeating himself for the first time in his life thereafter. At least he had the good taste to cover Duncan Browne and give a royalties break to his good buddy Iggy Pop.
