Start with Buffalo Springfield, then beef up with country-rock by recording in England with Who producer Glyn Johns, and you've got the intent of this album. It starts solidly with "Take It Easy" and "Witchy Woman," though there's an unsettling undercurrent of misogyny on the singles, which seem to view women as either passing pleasures or evil.
