Gravy Deco: The Complete Groov
01/01/1986 3:00 AM, Yahoo! Music Dave DiMartino
A vital reissue of Hitchcock's second solo albums--that's right, albums. Dissatisfied with producer Steve Hillage's work on 1982's Groovy Decay, Hitchcock went back in the studio and recorded the album again, releasing it this time as Groovy Decoy. Ironically, he shouldn't have bothered; the first is the better album. Contains the marvelous "Fifty Two Stations" and "America." Mandatory listening.
