Their last "official" release as a band, although Abbey Road was recorded after this. What makes it good is the band had decided to "Get Back" to its roots, and it features the legendary live roof session with Billy Preston, including them running through the first tune John and Paul had ever written together. Any other band might've killed to release an album this good, but for the Beatles and the expectations of their fans, it was disappointing as a swansong from a unit so important to their culture and their lives.
