Tarting up their usually gentlemanly songs in studio trash and punk vibes, Blur may alienate all but the truly devoted this time out. But their wondrous melodies remain undaunted, and their experimentation portends good things ahead. Oddly enough, "Song 2" rockets the band to sudden success in the U.S., causing a "Blur sellout" backlash back home in England.
