Aladdin Sane

Having established himself as a superstar in the making, Bowie didn't disappoint with this follow-up to Ziggy. In some ways a better album--the addition of pianist Mike Garson made the music more interesting, certainly--this features a raft of killer rock 'n' roll tunes, including "Panic In Detroit," "Drive-In Saturday," and "The Jean Genie," and is a very classy affair. Still sounds great, too.
