Long Live Love Review

This 13-song collection -- the CD equivalent of those budget Pye Records and Marble Arch LPs of the late '60s and early '70s -- covers a lot of territory in Sandy Shaw's output. None of it is arranged very sensibly, but all of it is handy, as far as it goes. The key, major songs are here with no notes but good sound, and the budget price is just about right. Even in these surroundings, the many guises of Shaw's singing persona prove seductive in their range and accessibility, and never more so than on "Long Live Love." ~ Bruce Eder, All Music Guide
