Taking the best from Bob Seger and John Mellencamp and melding it into something all his own, Tom Cochrane comes up shining as he takes you for a trip down Ragged Ass Road. Short, concise stories about life, love, loss, and the hope of renewal and redemption fill up this set. Some of the best include "I Wish You Well," and the Dylanesque "Crawl," and the title track.
