Wonderfulness Review

Though he started to explore themes that required a bit more development on the previous album, most of Cosby's recorded bits were still short and sweet. Wonderfulness includes two extended pieces, allowing him to stretch out and develop the storytelling style that eventually made him famous. The first story about his bout of tonsillitis is certainly funny, but the highlight is the extended bit on the "Chicken Heart" that ate New York City, a hilarious tale about listening to late-night radio and getting the wits scared out of you. Equally as good is the story of the go-kart race, complete with sound effects. ~ Sean Carruthers, All Music Guide
