Best Of Dean Martin (Capitol) Review

Capitol Records' first real hits compilation on Dean Martin, released five years after he made his last recordings for the label, did contain his three biggest hit singles for the label ("Memories Are Made of This," "That' s Amore" and "Return to Me") as well as a couple of his other chart singles ("Sway" and "Volare"). But it wasn't really a thorough collection of his best, or his most popular, recordings. And note that the version of "You're Nobody 'til Somebody Loves You" is not the hit one, which was on Reprise. ~ William Ruhlmann, All Music Guide
