Jay-Z Unplugged (Edited) Review

Jay-Z Live: MTV Unplugged features Jay-Z performing many of his most well-known songs acoustically. The performances are often interesting but rarely anything more than curious. Many of Jay-Z's best songs were always reliant on samples, and this aspect of his music is sorely missing here. Nonetheless, diehards should give this a listen if only for the sake of curiosity. However, this is far from essential and is more of a novelty than a necessity, even for fans.
