Following the December release of his "Mac And Devin Go To High School" soundtrack with Snoop Dogg, Wiz Khalifa makes a quick return with another nod to higher learning, the free mixtape download, "Taylor Allderdice." Taylor Allderdice High School is the name of Wiz's Pittsburgh almamater.

While "Taylor Allderdice" isn't as strong as "Mac And Devin" or even his 2011 major label debut, "Rolling Papers," the mixtape has some noteworthy tracks.

Among the best is "Never Been Part II," a collab with Wiz's fiancé model Amber Rose and Rick Ross. Surprisingly, Rose's brief spoken word raps sounds pleasant and compliment the song's slow boom.

Topically, "Taylor Allderdice," mainly tackles the regular rap subjects of getting high and jealous haters. On "Number 16," a 1990s feeling track reminiscent from something from the Pharcyde, Wiz vents, "N-ggas hate me because they got no progression."

"Taylor Allderdice" also captures a 1990s vibe on Pete Rock And C.L. Smooth-ish "Nameless." Still, Wiz includes several tracks with Three 6 Mafia member Juicy J, who joined his Taylor Gang crew last year: "My Favorite Song," "T.A.P.," "The Code," and "Blindfolds." It's cool hearing Wiz adopt the Three 6 rapid lyrical flow when rapping alongside Juicy.
