Nicki Minaj's new warts-and-all, day-in-the-life reality miniseries, "My Truth," premiered Sunday night on E!...and the truth is, she came across as extremely unpleasant on the show. She made Madonna in Truth Or Dare and Elton John in Tantrums & Tiaras look positively low-maintenance. She claimed she can "see the future." She claimed her Pink Friday fragrance is a "milestone for hip-hop." And so on.
Sheesh. I am beginning to feel really sorry for Mariah Carey, Keith Urban, and Randy Jackson, who'll have to sit next to Nicki's giant...ego on the "American Idol" panel in Season 12.
Which brings us to the long-unanswered question, a mystery for the TV ages finally solved by Sunday's "My Truth" premiere: Why was Nicki a full hour late to her first "American Idol" audition taping in September? Because she was steamed over the fact that her sidekick did not supply her with a jacket steamer.

Additionally, a sneak preview of this coming Sunday's second episode of "Nicki Minaj: My Truth" depicts Her Minajesty snipping, "I think that Mariah met her match this time. And I don't think she was expecting to meet her match." Hmmm. That doesn't sound like rumors of Nicki and Mariah's feud are exaggerated (as "Idol" powers-that-be have repeatedly claimed), or that Nicki has any intention of becoming besties with her new "Idol" co-star.
