Carly Rae Jepsen doesn’t win at the Grammy Awards

The 55th annual Grammy Awards have hung up on Carly Rae Jepsen.

We had high hopes for the 27-year-old Canadian pop star when she received Grammy Award nominations for Best Pop Solo Performance and Song of the Year for her viral tune “Call Me Maybe." Unfortunately, she lost in both categories.

Early in the night, Jepsen lost to Adele’s “Set Fire To The Rain [Live]” for Best Pop Solo Performance and to fun.'s "We are Young" for Song of the Year.

Viewers seemed happy that “Call Me Maybe” lost and began airing their feelings on Twitter writing comments like, “I hope Carly Rae Jepsen enjoyed her 15 minutes. They are officially up.”

Wrote another: “I swear if Carly Rae Jepsen won that award over Adele and Rihanna I would've given up on life right at that moment #noonescallingyourname.”

However, even though she did not take home a Grammy, Jepsen has a lot to look forward to as she will be heading to Europe with Justin Bieber for the next leg of his “Believe Tour” starting on Feb. 17.

The B.C.-native has also announced that “Tonight I’m Getting Over You” will be the next single off her album “Kiss.”

“I’m really excited, actually, for the new year to show a different side of me,” she told Access Hollywood Live. “It’s been fun to do kind of feel-good songs, but I think the next single, ‘Tonight I’m Getting Over You,’ is something I’m really looking forward to.”
