J Cole announces venue for his June 26 stop in Toronto

With Toronto being his last and only Canadian stop for his “Dollar and a Dream” tour, the heads of J Cole’s Toronto fans have probably exploded by now. The rapper announced that his finale show will be at 99 Sudbury, a unique West Queen West event venue in Toronto.

The anticipation has grown over the past two weeks for the Toronto conclusion of the “Dollar and a Dream” tour, because the venue for each stop has been kept secret up until a few hours before each show. Fans had to follow J Cole’s Twitter account for updates throughout the day.

According to a release on J Cole’s website, the tour is his way of giving back to his fans who have supported him from the beginning of his career – and what more could a hip-hop-head ask for than a ticket price of $1 and an intimate venue?

The tour launched in Miami on June 11 and each stop has seen fans lining up for hours to get in. In Miami, J Cole didn’t announce his location until June 10 -- the night before the show. Since then, locations have been announced closer and closer to show times.

But now the question is: Will Drake make an appearance tonight in Toronto? It wouldn’t be surprising, considering MTV reported that Drake made a cameo during J Cole’s New York stop on June 20.
