Justin Bieber earns a history-making fifth No. 1 album

Justin Bieber’s fifth album “Believe Acoustic” has reached the top spot on the Billboard 200-album chart, giving him the distinction of being the sole musician to have five No. 1 albums at only 18 years old.

"Believe Acoustic," which features remixed hits from his 2012 “Believe” record and new songs like "Yellow Raincoat," "I Would" and "Nothing Like Us," sold 211,000 copies in its first week of release.

“WE did it! #HISTORY - thank u,” he tweeted on Feb. 6. “#BELIEVEacoustic is the #1 selling album in the WORLD and OUR fifth #1! First time ever! OUR ALBUMS! thank u.”

One tune that is not featured on Bieber’s latest No. 1 album is his collaboration with hip-hop artist Juicy J on Maejor Ali’s track “Lolly” where he strays away from his familiar falsettos when it’s his turn at the microphone and spits his verse instead. (Listen to the new song here.)

"I love it, man,” Juicy J told MTV News. “He went in, man. It shows he can sing, dance, rap. He's talented."

In addition to singing, dancing and rapping, Bieber has also tried his hand at acting, appearing on such television shows as “CSI: Crime Scene Investigation” and is scheduled to host and perform on the Feb. 9 episode of “Saturday Night Live.”

“The cast is awesome,” he tweeted early this morning. “So positive. Make the process fun. I'm excited. Laughed all day today but gonna be a lot of work. We ready!”

He also wrote, “Am i nervous? yep. #outofmyelement . but im excited. #BIEBERonSNL.”

Bieber joins previous SNL musical guests such as Bruno Mars, Taylor Swift and Justin Timberlake. It’s also been reported that no topic is off limits for the episode, so maybe we'll get an update on whether he's back together with Selena Gomez.
