Justin Timberlake’s best “Saturday Night Live” appearances

Justin Timberlake will be the host and musical guest on “Saturday Night Live” on March 9 and to celebrate, the singer posted a promo photo of himself.

Following his appearance, fans will get an extra dose of the former 'N Sync member when he joins host Jimmy Fallon on “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon” from March 11 to March 15.

This will be the fifth time Timberlake has hosted “SNL” and to get you revved up for March, let’s take a look at some of our favourite past performances, sketches and cameos.

“3-Way (The Golden Rule)”

Joined by The Lonely Island and Lady Gaga, Timberlake won a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Guest Actor In A Comedy Series for his 2011 appearance on “SNL,” which included the digital short “3-Way (The Golden Rule).”

“Immigrant Tale”

In a sketch that featured the story of his great great grandfather’s journey to Ellis Island, the 32-year-old singer was able to poke fun at himself and put on an impressive accent.

“What Goes Around…Comes Around”

When he’s not showing off his amazing hosting skills, Timberlake can be found giving outstanding musical performances on “SNL” like this one from 2006 where he played piano and sang his smash hit “What Goes Around…Comes Around.”

“Beyoncé Video Shoot”

Even when he just makes a cameo appearance, Timberlake manages to steal the show. In this case, the “Suit & Tie” hitmaker guest starred in a sketch featuring Beyoncé and host Paul Rudd on the set of the “Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It)” music video shoot.

He wasn’t the host and didn’t even perform on “SNL” in 2002, but when Timberlake appeared as himself alongside his then-girlfriend Britney Spears during her opening monologue when she hosted the show, hilarity ensued.
