According to the Associated Press, audience members like Paul McCartney, Sofia Vergara and John Legend were in attendance as the former 'N Sync member performed new tunes like "Pusher Love Girl" and "That Girl" during his greatly anticipated return to the stage.

The 32-year-old, who celebrated his birthday on Jan. 31, sang in front of a big band under the moniker “JT & the Tennessee Kids,” a shout out to Timberlake’s hometown of Memphis, Tenn.

Featuring lyrics like "I'm in love with that girl / don't be mad at me," we think that it’s possible that “That Girl” could be about the musician’s new bride Jessica Biel, who sources suggest he recently convinced to wait on having children so that he could focus on his music career.

Rolling Stone reports that the evening was filled with Timberlake classics like "Cry Me a River," "Rock Your Body," "What Goes Around...Comes Around" and "SexyBack" in addition to covers like The Jacksons' "Shake Your Body (Down to the Ground)” and INXS’ "Need You Tonight."

During his new single “Suit & Tie,” the tune’s featured artist Jay-Z joined Timberlake on stage.
