Youtube user Ijameswalters performs the iconic "Les Mis" tune “I Dreamed A Dream” in the voice of Gollum as made popular by actor Andy Serkis in all three “The Lord of the Rings” films and “The Hobbit.”

He even changes the lyrics of the tune to make them more Gollum-esque like replacing “I” with “We” and adding in the character’s pet name for The Ring, “my precious.”

Posted on Feb. 18, the clip has gone viral with over 193,000 views at press time and fans seem to enjoy this interpretation and have proposed that the song could have worked in “The Hobbit.”

“I can actually picture Gollum singing this after Bilbo escaped with the ring,” one viewer commented.

Wrote another: "’But the Baggins comes at night (...) And steals away the precious-‘" lol, that line alone is full of win. Dude- thanks, I think that made my week XD”
