Miley Cyrus twerks on stage at Juicy J concert

It’s a bird! It’s a plane! It’s Twerk Girl!

On June 8, Miley Cyrus was caught twerking during a Juicy J concert at the House of Blues in Los Angeles. The former Disney Channel star was wearing another pair of her black and white striped pants, and she's starting to make us think that she is the superhero of sexy the dance move.

According to a tweet from the rapper after the show, it seems like the audience enjoyed watching the former “Hannah Montana” star shake her groove thing. He also posted two photos of him and Cyrus together on Instagram.

Popdust points out that some think that the 20-year-old Cyrus is trying to be “the white Rihanna,” and it wouldn’t be the first time that these two artists have been linked to one another.

According to MTV News, Cyrus’ new single “We Can’t Stop” was originally written for the Barbadian beauty.

"It was kind of crazy 'cause ... when I originally worked on 'We Can't Stop,' we had did it for Rihanna," producer Mike Will Made It revealed. "The idea was more towards Rihanna. And then Rihanna, she heard [her ‘Unapologetic’ track] 'Pour It Up,' and then she got on 'Pour It Up' right away. And she didn't even hear 'We Can't Stop.' So then we finished up the record."

He also said, “We went in, [Cyrus] nailed the record, and she did it with her swag. So it sounds totally different than from what we originally tried to come up with."

In a poll conducted by “On Air with Ryan Seacrest,” “We Can’t Stop” emerged victorious over tunes like Selena Gomez‘s “Slow Down,” Avril Lavigne‘s “Here’s to Never Growing up,” Lana Del Rey's “Young and Beautiful,” and David Guetta and Rihanna’s “Right Now” as the 2013 song of the summer.

Last year, Carly Rae Jepsen’s “Call Me Maybe” ruled and was named the official song of the summer by Billboard. Do you think that “We Can’t Stop” is a strong contender for the role this year? Let us know in the comments below!
