Rolling Stones fans angered by Taylor Swift ‘As Tears Go By’ duet

Taylor Swift referred to her moment on stage with The Rolling Stones during their Chicago tour stop on June 3 as “never in my wildest dreams.” Unfortunately for Swift, it seems like fans are now regarding her appearance at the concert as their biggest nightmare.

The 23-year-old country/pop singer joined the band on stage at the United Center. Swiftdanced with Mick Jagger while performing the 1965 tune “As Tears Go By” and even got a shout-out on Twitter from the frontman after the show.

However, on websites like YouTube, Facebook and Twitter, fans were less than impressed after watching Swift’s performance, and they haven’t been shy about sharing their feelings.

“Lost all respect for the Stones now, Taylor Swift? I think of all the great female singers the Stones have performed with over the years and the great performances, this is not one of those!” one fan posted on Facebook.

Wrote another on YouTube: “They were awful their pitch is so wrong together.”

“I don't see the point, their fans don't like that s--- music, they probably don't as well,” another fan commented on Facebook. “So why? If this is some kind of try-to-get-popular-thing is it not worth it. Stones; You already got your fans and your fans don't like Taylor Swift ...”

In addition to Swift, the Stones have also been joined by artists like Sheryl Crow, Katy Perry, Gwen Stefani and Keith Urban on their "50 & Counting" tour.

Next up, the band will take over Toronto’s Air Canada Centre on June 6 and we think that it would be cool to see a Canadian artist on stage with the rockers. Someone like Alanis Morissette, Avril Lavigne, Shania Twain, Michael Bublé, Bryan Adams, Sarah McLachlan, Feist or k.d. lang, perhaps?

Who do you hope to see them perform with next?
