Britney Spears Forces Us to ‘Work’ a Little Early

Leave it to Britney Spears to make us "Work" on a Sunday.

The dance diva's highly-anticipated new single, "Work B**ch," wasn't expected to land on the Internet until Tuesday, but pop Christmas came a little early when the track leaked this weekend.

The track is the first single for Brit Brit's still-to-be-titled new album, which is expected to drop later this fall.

The club-ready banger, written by will.i.am, features a danceable electronic groove and simple message demanding listeners to "work" if they want, well, anything

In the track, Britney coos, "You want a hot body / You want a Bugattti / You want a Maseratti / You better work b**ch / You want a Lamborghini / Sip martinis / Look hot in a bikini / You better work b**ch."

Last week, Spears posted a photo on Instagram that appeared to list the songwriting credits for the song. Among those listed was former Swedish House Mafia member Sebastian Ingrosso, who later took to Twitter to deny he had any involvement in the track. "I don't really know why they put my name in there," he told Billboard. "It's a really good song and I'm looking forward to what's going to happen with it. But I can't take credit for it."

Ingrosso isn't the only one who has taken to the track, which like much of Spears' latter day work, is chock-full of EDM-elements that'll surely make it a hit in clubs on and the radio. Even One Direction fans are praising the track, with @1DFAMILY tweeting, "I'm listening [to] Work B**ch by Britney Spears! RIP Applause, RIP Roar, RIP Wrecking Ball, now get to WORK B**CH!," referencing the latest singles by Lady Gaga, Katy Perry and Miley Cyrus, respectively.

But not everyone loving the song. @DudeNdaEaseOnUp tweeted, "'Work B**ch' sounds like it was made in GarageBand by a scene kid who was myspace famous in 2005."

Britney is also expected to announce her plans for her long-rumored Las Vegas residency Tuesday on ABC's "Good Morning America." The cover art for the "Work B**ch" single further hits that the 31-year-old is Vegas-bound with the singer dressed as a showgirl with a "Welcome to Las Vegas" sticker strategically placed on the mirror in the background.

Due to the leak, "Work B**ch" now will become available on iTunes on Monday at 12:01 a.m. ET.
