Bruce Springsteen sings with Bradley brothers in Ottawa

Earlier this year, we saw 10-year-old Halle Tator take on the classic track "Waitin' on a Sunny Day" with Bruce Springsteen when he rocked Toronto's Rogers Centre in August.

This time around, during the 63-year-old musician's show at Ottawa's Scotiabank Place on Oct. 19, two youngsters joined in the tradition of children singing "The Rising" album track live on stage with The Boss -- and it was truly an event to remember.

"I was just so proud of the fact that here's a once in a lifetime opportunity and the boys made the most of it, and both my wife and I were very, very proud," Scott Bradley told the Canadian Press of his two sons, eight-year-old Peter and seven-year-old Stuart, who both got to perform with Springsteen.

He added, "Your boys go up on stage, it was incredible, in a way you're watching your kids live your dream."

An avid fan of the "Born in the U.S.A." hitmaker and his E Street Band, Bradley told the Canadian Press that this was his 29th time seeing Springsteen live. He admitted that he would play games like "name that Springsteen tune" with his sons, on the off chance that they were chosen to sing with The Boss.

"The most exciting part for me was just that, you know when they got on stage they made the most it," Bradley said. "They sang with their hearts right out there and they jumped around and had fun, and if they were nervous, which they said they were, they didn't show it."

What you don't see in the video is that in order to get up on stage, Bradley and his two sons fashioned a couple of signs to help get Springsteen's attention.

"We had two signs 'Our Sister Picked Bieber, We Wanted THE BOSS!' and a sign with the boys name on it saying 'We want to sing Waiting on a Sunny Day - we know the words!'" the proud dad said in response to a viewer's comment on YouTube.

Speaking to The Ottawa Citizen about his performance with his younger brother, Peter said, "I looked around [when] I was up on the stage. I felt a bit nervous at first but then we started singing and it felt great. Everybody was giving us high-fives at the end. It was really cool."
