Erica Norris gets hired on ‘The Ellen DeGeneres Show after rapping her résumé

Applying for all jobs should be this fun!

Although her first attempt at a video résumé failed to get Ellen DeGeneres' attention, Washington State University graduate Erica Norris landed herself a job on the "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" after sending in her second special résumé via an over-sized box covered in bar codes.

The clip showcases Norris' rapping skills as she rhymes off her qualifications while wearing a "YOLO" t-shirt -- which stands for "you only live once," an acronym made popular by the Drake song "The Motto." Norris is also seen performing dance moves like the invisible horse routine from PSY's "Gangnam Style" music video.

Inviting Norris, an advertising major from Spokane, Washington, on the show and interviewing her for the position of production assistant, DeGeneres ended up offering the new graduate the job and a cheque for $15,000 for a new apartment in Los Angeles.

With tears in her eyes and a big smile on her face, Norris accepted the job offer and the cash. According to her Twitter feed, Norris starts next month at her new workplace.

This isn't the first time DeGeneres has hired viewer.

As you might remember, Jeannie Klisiewicz was hired in 2008 after the 54-year-old host learned that she had entered every contest without ever winning one and today has worked her way up from production assistant to receptionist and show correspondent.
