U.S. Air Force Academy takes on ‘Gangnam Style’

Showing the world that they can "Gangnam Style," the U.S. Air Force Academy have released a video performing PSY's Korean pop hit -- and, in the process, they attempt to show the other military academies that they reign supreme when showcasing the viral track.

Writing in the clip's description on YouTube, "Spirit video made by the fourth class cadets of CS37 for the upcoming Navy Weekend," the USAFA also calls out the U.S. Naval Academy in the video, asking them to "watch closely" and see "how it's done."

In September, the 22nd Company of the USNA released their version of a "Gangnam Style" parody clip, initiating the challenge and dancing while lip-syncing in their crisp white uniforms to the K-pop song.

Also joining the fight for the best "Gangnam Style" video cover is the U.S. Military Academy Corps of Cadets. They seem to have decided to go for as close a recreation of PSY's original video as possible, and they also call out the USNA, writing, "GO ARMY, BEAT NAVY," at the end of the video.

It looks like both the USAFA and Military Academy want to take down the USNA, who currently have the most popular video with over 5.1 million views, beating the approximately 32,000 and almost 526,000 views of the other two respective clips at press time.
