Last night on the red carpet, Yahoo! Canada Music asked the artists what their favourite moments of past MuchMusic Video Awards were. We have their answers along with accompanying clips to help you relive their incredible memories.

Nelly Furtado
Nelly Furtado's favourite memories of the MMVAs include moments from before and after she exploded onto the music scene, saying, "I came to this awards show over 10 years ago, I snuck in and I didn't even have a CD [out yet.] I just wanted to come to the party and it was the place to be." Adding, "Performing with Timbaland in 2006 was a lot of fun."

Jeremy Liddle
Faber Drive's Jeremy "Krikit" Liddle remembers Finger Eleven's sky-high performance of "Paralyzer" at the 2007 MMVAs, saying, "It was really cool when [they] performed on top of the building. I don't know if I could have done that because I'm deathly afraid of heights."
Kreesha Turner
R&B artist Kreesha Turner was blown away by Lady Gaga's performance of "The Edge of Glory" in 2011 when she wowed the crowd with her wardrobe, saying, "When she came out in Versace I was like, 'Oh my gosh! I love fashion and when she did that, she was really making a statement."

Jesse Metcalfe
Star of the new "Dallas" revival series, Jesse Metcalfe, recalls meeting a fresh new artist named Rihanna during his appearance at the 2006 MMVAs, saying, "I met [her] for the first time here and that was before anybody even knew who she was. It was a very different Rihanna back then. I believe she performed "S.O.S" and it was one hot performance."
Shawn Desman
Smiling about his award win last year, pop artist Shawn Desman recalled his favourite MMVAs moment from 2011, saying, "Winning Video of the Year last year for "Electric/Night Like This," I felt so lucky and blessed that night."
